Bio
With many creations of different sounds on animations, the sound design included in Angela Matthews’ work relates a lot to what is being presented on-screen.
Collaborating with the Design for Digital Media course, the titled DOT2DOT Compositions had been displayed for all to see at the Brighton Illustration Fair at the University of Brighton.
Also, re-sound designing Main Frames, motion graphic ‘For Approval’ the sounds you expect to hear are not what’s being heard, with the images not matching the sound, all sounds were recorded by Angela herself with items she had found lying around her room. With endless items, endless sounds and noises can be created from this.
Artist Statement
“For my final project, I will be creating an immersive experience, including sound and light projection, what you are able to see, feel and hear is an external galaxy right in front of you and even closer than you would imagine.
Currently creating something in the field of sound and light, this will help me progress in doing something similar with greater effect and an outcome that could lead me into a display of similar artists.”
